The 4th poliTE project meeting took place at CITEC, Bielefeld on June 25th/26th, during which the results from the last 18 monts were evaluated, reflected on, and discussed. We presented an interdisciplinary overview on our extensive research on the phenomenon of social appropriateness including the genesis, historicity and activation of norms, theories on behaviour and agency, theories of culture, theories on knowledge organisation and politeness research. Furthermore, we chose theoretical frameworks for the project’s next steps, which consider the potential technical implementations of our findings. We feel thrilled and excited to enter project phase II and are looking forward to new findings!
