poliTE takes part in the Status and Networking Meeting of the BMBF in Berlin
From Nov 28th to 29th, 2019, the Status and Networking Meeting of the BMBF was held in Berlin. It was centered around the announcements “Autonomous Roboters for Assistance Functions: Interactive Basic Skills” („Autonome Roboter für Assistenzfunktionen: Interaktive Grundfertigkeiten“) and “Robots for Assistance Functions: Strategies of Interactions” („Roboter für Assistenzfunktionen: Interaktionsstrategien“).
Apart from intriguing workshops on the topics of acceptance in social robots, data security, safety and taxonomies of service robots, progresses and challenges of the 16 sponsored projects of the announcements were presented and discussed. FoKoS-member Sebastian Nähr had the opportunity to give an introduction to the first interim results of the poliTE project.
